Our client has built the most cutting-edge, automated, integrated (chemistry AND biology) system in the US—maybe world. They are looking for a talented Scientist to add ADME functionality. Initially focused on Metabolic Clearance and CYP450 Inhibition Assays. This strategic role will be key to establishing experimental design, method development, process optimization, troubleshooting, and evaluating and implementing new assays and technologies.

Among other things, you would

  • Lead ADME assay design, implementation, validation and production support activities
  • Identify new equipment necessary for expansion of assay support
  • Provide new options for the continuous development of processes and chromatographic methodologies that will improve the productivity, timeliness and scientific impact of analytical support
  • Maintain analytical equipment to support ADME including LC-MS/MS
  • Work as a team with other internal chemists, biologists, as well as external resources and data management groups.
  • Work cross-functionally with external customers as well as the engineering and software teams to continue development of the automated ADME platform
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures, instrument maintenance and testing plans
  • Recommend process controls by identifying problems and assist in writing module operations procedures
  • Coordinate service by vendors and internal on various pieces of lab equipment ensuring equipment is properly maintained and functioning
  • Assist project teams with ongoing operational needs

To Qualify you should have

A college or graduate degree plus experience in drug discovery (BS+15 yrs, MS+10 yrs, PhD+ 5 yrs) in particular with background knowledge or expertise in ADME assays and some experience in small molecule separation or purification with liquid handlers, lab automation, or robotics.
